Vaalwater offers self-catering accommodation and is
conveniently situated on the Vaalwater Road between
Uniondale and the Baviaanskloof, a mere 2km from the
main Baviaanskloof access road.
It is the last stop before entering or after leaving the
Baviaanskloof and is well-located as a base for day
trips into the kloof.
Vaalwater has 3 self-catering units available:
1. Ons Huisie is a renovated a renovated farm
house with 3 bedrooms, one double and two single and can
sleep 6. The house is fully equipped for self-catering
with a kitchen, modern bathroom, a stoep or porch with a
braai area and electricity.
2. Die Lang Huis is ideal for tour groups. It
consist of 4 bedrooms, 3 equipped with 2 singlebeds and
a washbasin and one honeymoon suite with doublebed. A
large entertainment area / Large Lapa with a fireplace
and a commune kitchen. The ablution blocks is available
for use.
3. Die Eenkant Huis is situated apart from the
other two houses. One side of Eenkant Huis has 2
bedrooms - one doubled bed and 2 single beds with a
fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace and a bathroom.
The otherside of Eenkant Huis has one bedroom – with 2
single beds, a fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace
and a bathroom.
All linen and towels will be provided. Accommodation
available from R150 to R180 per person per night.
